Hailing from a small town just north of Indianapolis, Charles and his wife are the parents of 5 young adults and a dog. When he is not writing in his study, Charles spends most of his time reading, exercising, watching Sci-Fi movies, sipping a beer at a local pub (that he designed), and traveling the world. A big sports fan, he avidly watches college football on Saturday afternoons.
